The Capstone is an opportunity for Plant Science seniors to identify an industry problem or research question related to plants, and dig in to create something to help launch careers! Reade more details in the syllabus HERE, and explore student projects below.
During the semester students will:
- Develop a research question or project idea (anything from plant breeding research to an IMP Plan, Extension Curriculum, Farm Design, or so much more...!).
- Complete a literature review to nest their idea within what has been done before.
- Do the project!
- Present results in three communication formats: a report, a conference poster, and a flash talk.
